Assistant Property Manager

Position Overview:

As a Remote Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our property management operations. You will work closely with our property managers to ensure the smooth and efficient management of single-family homes. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle phone and email communications with tenants and homeowners, providing excellent customer service.
  • Act as the "right-hand-person" to the Property Manager in Houston
  • Handle general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Maintain and update property management databases and records.
  • Prepare and distribute lease agreements, notices, and other relevant documents.
  • Assist with the marketing and advertising of available rental properties.
  • Speak with prospective applicants, residents, owners, vendors and internal team members on video calls about any issues they may be having, and seek solutions

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in property management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Translate leadership directives into actionable tasks, demonstrating adaptability to different working styles.
