Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Home Inspector to join our team. The Home Inspector will be responsible for visiting various properties, conducting thorough inspections, documenting conditions through an inspection app, and creating detailed estimates for any required repairs or maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to different properties within the Greater Houston area to conduct home inspections.
• Use an inspection app to document property conditions, including taking comprehensive photos and detailed notes.
• Assess the condition of the property's interior and exterior, including structural elements, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Identify any repairs or maintenance needed and create detailed estimates for completing the required work.
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to property owners and the property management team.
• Ensure all inspections and estimates are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in home inspection or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in home inspection, property management, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Proficiency with inspection software and mobile apps.
• Ability to create accurate and detailed estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices in Texas.
